She took the Guinness World Record from 2ft 3in American Bridgette Jordan, and celebrated her birthday with a teddy bear which loomed over her tiny 24.4in frame.

Andre Dede Ayew Wins BBC African Footballer of the Year 2011
Ghana’s finest Andre Dede Ayew has been named BBC’s African Footballer of the year-2011. As we say Congrats to him, we will like to say thank you to all who voted for him as well. Our campaign to have everyone vote for him worked to perfection.
Dede Ayew, 21, took over a third of the votes to follow in the footsteps of his father, Abedi “Pele” Ayew, who won the inaugural BBC award in 1991.Ayew beat Yaya Toure, Gervinho, Samuel Eto’o and Seydou Keita to the title.
The Canadian sensation has sung duets with Mariah Carey and Kanye West and has had dance offs against Usher and P.Diddy. Now he has shown off his silky balls to some of the world's greatest living footballers.
The pint size pop star recently spent theday with Spanish international Fernando and England midfielder Frank at Chelsea's home ground, Stamford Bridge.
The singer, whose worldwide hits include Baby, Baby, Never Say Never and One Time, found time to give the professionals a quick lesson in ball control.
The 17-year-old is a self confessed football fanatic, or as he calls it, soccer fan, and earlier this year he was sporting a Barcelona strip when he had a kick-around on the streets of Spain.
Bieber also got to take a penalty at the Shed End of the stadium with midfielder Lampard in goal. Having already displayed what a natural athlete he is it was no surprise when Justin blasted the ball in past the out of position Chelsea legend.
He ended his day at the west London club with a VIP tour around the stadium and quick look in the changing rooms.
On this evidence, perhaps Russian owner Roman Abramovich should open his cheque book in January to sign the 17-year-old pop idol.

The convoy of the Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, was this evening at about 6:30pm involved in what eyewitnesses described as a ghastly accident, which left several persons with various degrees of injuries.
Eyewitnesses stated that the accident occurred at Ibusa, on the Asaba-Ughelli expressway when the governor and his entourage were said to be returning from an official engagement.
An eyewitness who was at the scene attributed the accident to the recklessness of drivers in the governor’s convoy who chose to occupy the entire road. The source said that following the reckless occupation of the centre of the road, a commercial vehicle which was attempting to negotiate a sharp curve in Ibusa lost control and somersaulted repeatedly into a nearby bush, and leaving the occupants of the ill-fated vehicle with wounds.
It was learnt that immediately the incident occurred, Governor Uduagha responded with concern, alighting from his vehicle and ordering that the victims be rescued with some of the vehicles in his convoy and taken to the hospital for treatment. The accident and the response caused an unprecedented hold up.
When Saharareporters reached the commissioner of information, Chike Ogeah, regarding the accident, he denied the version of the story that the accident was caused by the governor's convoy. He claimed the governor was acting as a good samaritan by alighting from his official vehicle to assist accident victims in Oleh. SaharareportersFollow @uwakwemartin

After 16 years dedicated to building the premier comedy show, Nite of A Thousand Laughs, comedy merchant and the man reputed to be the founding father of modern day stand up comedy in Nigeria, Opa Williams, is taking a bow.
This shocking news was contained in a statement signed by his media company, Media Image Managers, MIM. Williams, a movie producer and director, is resting Nite Of A Thousand Laughs. Consequently, the pan Nigeria show will have its last editions on December 26 in Benin and January 1 in Port Harcourt.
An emotional Williams said in his office that the decision to stop the show that has brought him fame and fortune as well as served as a launch pad to all popular stand up comedians like Julius Agwu, Basket Mouth and I Go Dye among many others, was “a hard one.”
And why would Opa Williams take such a hard decision after 16 successful years of taking the show to Europe and across Africa? “When we started Nite of A Thousand Laughs in 1995, we were the only comedy show, we were the real, and Nigerians witnessed something fresh and unique.
“Jokes were original and audience members actually laughed a ‘thousand’ times. Consequently, the show produced superstar stand comedians who got their first break on the stage of Nite Of A Thousand Laughs. These comedians went ahead to start their own shows.”
These shows became a recreation of Nite Of A Thousand Laughs. It turned out to be a ‘see one, see all shows’ situation. “The fallout is that the audience members paid dearly for this as they are short changed without knowing it.
As a pioneer, in fact the arrow head of the comedy revolution in Nigeria, I decided I won’t be part of this audience short changing scheme anymore, so Nite of A Thousand Laughs is stepping aside, to retain its dignity,” an emotion laden Williams said.
He brushed aside the insinuation that competition is forcing him out of the game he founded.
Behold the ultimate Hero! He is none other than Christopher Okagbue. Turn the hands of time a week back. After winning yet another task, Christopher Okagbue was asked by show anchor, Bob Manuel for his reaction. With a dead pan expression on his face, the Anambra State born Model turned to the other contestants: “Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid”. Either they failed to take him serious or they simply could not cope with the Anambra State born model. It doesn’t matter anyway. Today, Christopher has shown the world that he is in a class of his own by winning the 2011 edition of the Gulder Ultimate Search.
However, his final triumph was anything but easy. He had to go through a gruelling task and a painstaking search for the ultimate treasure in the Ososo forest before winning the competition. The first task required the four surviving contenders, Tony Igwe, Christopher Okagbue, Kelvin Durst and Anastasia Azike, to climb a mountain using ropes to get to symbols arranged in a definite order. After memorizing the arrangement, they were to climb down the mountain and replicate the arrangement with symbols provided for them. However, they were only allowed two attempts at replicating the symbols. Failure to get the arrangement correct after the two attempts would mean that the individual would have to return to the mountain. When they are done with replicating the arrangement, they would then return to the mountain again to retrieve wooden slides. Each slide was a part of a puzzle which, when put together correctly would form a sequence of words.

Pastor Chris held his birthday birthday party today (Thursday) at his church auditorium in Lagos. In attendance was Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo,Gov. Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta state among many other.See pictures Below;
The couple who had their traditional wedding on Sat Nov 26th, have canceled their Sat Dec 10th white wedding. The new date is now Friday Dec 9th and they are keeping the venue secret. But it's at an RCCG parish somewhere in Lagos and reception still to hold at Essence Hotel in Ikoyi. Shhhh, don't say I told you, it's supposed to be secret...:-).
Reason for the new date is probably to manage the number of people who show up. They are only interested in close family and friends and have been sending out the new dates via phone calls and texts. I hear they are also planning a small and private reception party for only about 200 guests at a secret venue on Sat Dec 10th. All the best to them!
Who are the parents of the baby girl that was dumped in a swamp by suspected ritualists at 6th Avenue, Festac, Lagos, on Monday?
This is the question agitating the minds of hundreds of people who besieged the area to catch a glimpse of the unfortunate baby. The bizarre act was carried out at about 12noon.
A close look at the baby whose arms were tied, revealed that her upper region was ripped open and some organs removed. Her mouth was also stuffed with some materials or items apparently used for the rituals.
The suspected ritualists came in six cars and were about 15 men and a woman.
A source told Daily Sun that he saw the people who arrived the scene in their cars and became curious. “I saw when they carried something and entered into the bush. I wanted to challenge them but I was afraid, because they were many. Immediately they left after some minutes, I entered into the bush, where I saw a little baby whose hands were tied. We later invited policemen from Festac.
Similar sacrifice was performed at the same place, the same period last year. We decided to monitor their activities this year. We are really worried about this ugly development,” he said.
Policemen from Festac later visited the scene and took pictures of the baby.
When the Daily Sun called the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Samuel Jinadu, to comment on the incident, he did not pick his calls.
A source at the Area ‘E’ Police Command Festac, who confirmed the incident said the headquarters had been duly informed. To have a look at the highly graphical picture of this baby Scroll down.
