The publicist of star actress Mercy Johnson Big Sam media  have debunked the rumour of Mercy Johnson's blindness and death. They have released a statement to that regards which we got as below;
"As at the time of writing this, blogosphere and entertainment industry is awashed with rumour that star actress, Mercy Johnson suffered blindness and experienced a terrible accident that led to her death.
 
This rumor has no resemblance or iota of truth. Mercy is on a movie location in Lagos and getting set for her trip to Australia in a matter of days.

Terry G Denied Visa Into UK

These are definitely not the best of times for Gabriel Amanyi popularly known as Terry G as we learnt he’s denied British visa for second time.

According to sources,the inability of Terry G who has visited the United Kingdom once,to be granted a visa is not unconnected with the problems associated with the documents Terry G submitted at the embassy.He is said not to have been able to properly convince the High Commission visa issuing authority that he is just going to United Kingdom to perform at a show and come back without extending his stay or ultimately defecting.

Unfortunately,a popular showbiz promoter,who is believed to be taking Terry G to United Kingdom on the musical tour has already distributed flyers and publicized the show via different social network sites.

A lot of people,most especially Terry G’s fans have already had their hopes raised,only for them to be ultimately informed that their beloved artiste has been denied visa by the British High Commission.

Six Dioes of Hiv After been cured by Prophet Tb Joshua(See Video)

At least six people have died in Britain after being told they had been healed of HIV and could stop taking their medication, Sky News has discovered.

There is evidence that evangelical churches in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow are claiming to cure HIV through God.

We sent three undercover reporters to the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), which is based in Southwark, south London.

All of them told the pastors they were HIV positive - all were told they could be healed.

Once a month the church has a prayer line, where people from across Europe come to be cured of all kinds of illness.

At registration they have to hand over a doctor's letter as evidence of their condition

EFCC BossFarida Waziri Relieved Of Her Job

President Goodluck Jonathan this morning sacked the boss of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision (EFCC) and announced Ibrahim Lamorde, a police officer and EFCC Director or Operations, as the new acting chairman of the anti-graft agency.

Femi Kuti Impregnates Another Dancer - Expecting Baby No.6

Just eight months ago, one of Femi Kuti's dancers, Bose Ajila, gave birth to baby boy for the Afro beat king. Now, another dancer in his Positive Force Band, Anthonia, is heavily pregnant and getting ready to deliver Femi's sixth child.

Lady GaGa Makes Secret Visit to Amy Winehouse's Home

Lady GaGa has secretly visited Amy Winehouse's home, if The Sun is to be trusted. According to the British tabloid, the Mother Monster went to the Camden, North London house of the late "Rehab" singer "in disguise" to "pay respect to a musical hero." She reportedly "kept things low key."

It is still unclear whether GaGa indeed made the secret visit, but the "Born This Way" hitmaker was recently in London to promote her latest single "Marry the Night". She stopped by Alan Carr's "Chatty Man" show to perform the number last Wednesday, November 16. "At Alan Carr! There's a piano here, hmmm," she tweeted at the time. "Maybe an impromptu performance?"

During her appearance on the show, GaGa made one shocking confession about turning the trash can in her dressing room into a makeshift toilet. "I do quite often pee in the dressing room, in the trash can," the eccentric singer said. Save my marriage, Segun Arinze begs pastor?

One wonders why busy-body people cannot mind their own businesses. Imagine the rumour flying around early this week that notable actor and arrowhead of the Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN), Segun Arinze recently approached a pastor of one of the new generation churches in respect of the challenges he is currently facing in his marriage.
The church is said to be located somewhere in Okota area of Lagos.
In a text message, Arinze allegedly sent to the pastor, he is practically begging the man of God to intervene in his marriage spiritually as his new wife, Julie is about to call it a quit.
Though our source refused to comment further on the text message, she admitted that the said man of God has been a long standing friend of  Segun Arinze.
The AGN president was once married to actress Anne Njemanze. Their marriage which produced a daughter crumbled few years ago. He also has another child from a previous relationship.
Only in February, this year,  Arinze’s new wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy and the couple’s joy knew no bounds. One only hopes that this is another handiwork of mischief makers, or what do you think?

EMMANUEL,JOBA AND CHIDINMA GETS EVICTED FROM THE MTN PROJECT FAME

It was another tense filled night as MTN Project Fame held their 4th eviction show. The night began with Benjamin announcing the presence of Wande Coal as a guest artiste.
The first contestant to perform at the show was Ruth whose performance according to TY Mix was electrifying. After her was Emmanuel who gave a not-too-fantastic performance, but an improvement from the last performance.Next was Princess who sang wonderfully well with a much improved diction that left Bibie Crew singing her praise.To continue after a break was Chidinma who also gave a good performance but was adviced by Ty Mix to work on her breath control.Then came Rachel who did a great job according to Nomoreloss.After her was the man with the big voice Joba who came out much confident greeting the crowd as he really had fun on the stage.Next to mount the stage was the last man standing "Roy" who came out as usual full of energy and strong vocals. He really shook the crowd as they all stood to their feet. The judges and faculty were really proud of him.
Then came the moment every one was waiting for.....It's wande coal as he sang he Ghana Freestyle and left the crowd shouting for more.

Then came the moment of reckoning as it was time for eviction.The contestant saved by the viewing  public was Rachel.The contestant saved by the judges was Roy and the Faculty decided to save Ruth.now the contestants not on probation voted and saved Princess. MRS OGUN STATE WINS 2011 EDITION OF THE MISS NIGERIA BEAUTY PEAGENT

Miss Feyijinmi Sodipo representing Ogun State has been  crowned Miss Nigeria 2011. The event which took place at the prestigious Expo hall Eko Hotel and suites Lagos also saw Miss Edo was awarded 2nd runner up and Miss Benue, 1st runner up. Miss Delta was decorated Miss Congeniality, while Miss Anambra was awarded Miss photogenic.  Miss African Hostess was given to Miss Akwa Ibom and the best traditional wear was won by Miss Benue.

NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS NKIRU SILVANUS TO UNVEIL HER NEW REALITY SHOW

Nollywood actress, Nkiru Sylvanus, has made a new addition to the growing number of talent hunt and reality shows in the country with her new show, tagged ‘I’ve Got Talent’.
According to organizers of the talent hunt, GeeRach Events and Entertainment, the show seeks to identify and showcase the abundance of talents in the country who seek exposure in the entertainment sector.
The actress, who took the movie industry by storm with her stellar performance in ‘A Cry for Help’ directed by Andy Amenechi, said she’s delighted with the project and thinks it will give ‘hope and support to hundreds of Nigerians with talents’.
The CEO of GeeRach, Ms Ifeoma Okeke, says that the show will explore talents in the various segments of the entertainment industry with particular bias for the movie sector, adding that it will be ‘a good avenue to promote Nigerians with unique talents’. She also said the show will be different from the rest.
The unveiling will take place on Sunday, December 4, 2011, at the Welcome Centre Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos and is expected to be attended by bigwigs in the entertainment industry.

MAN UNITED SIGNS 5 YEAR OLD WHIZ KID

Manchester United has signed five-year-old football wonder kid Charlie Jackson, who is being tipping as a future superstar by coaches.
According to the Daily Mirror, United scouts spotted Charlie’s incredible football skills when he was just three, but had to wait until he was old enough to join their development centre.
Charlie now trains with top-rated youngsters almost all a year older than him.

Charlie’s parents Andy and Claire said that they could not be happier, even though the family are all fans of Manchester City.
“His idols are Joe Hart and Mario Balotelli and at first he was mortified that he was having to train with United, but he seems to be getting over that bit now. He loves it,” Andy said.
“It’s an amazing opportunity. Everywhere we go people notice him because of his football talent. People just stand and watch him. They can’t believe he’s only five because he’s so good,” he added.

KIM KARDASHIAN COVERS DECEMBER EDITION OF MARIE CLAIRE MAGAZINE

I feel so bad for the editors of Marie Claire. They got Kim Kardashian for their December cover, and the interview was apparently conducted a few weeks before Kim filed for divorce. So there are lots of quotes from Kim about how happy she is with Kris Humphries and how well she knows herself and all of that, but there was still enough time in editorial for the writer to include that “In late October, it was announced that Kim would file for divorce, just 72 days after she and Kris tied the knot.” If I was the editor over there, I might be tempted to simply redo the issue with another (emergency) cover girl. I suspect that Kim made an enemy out of Marie Claire for the way she screwed them over for this cover story. Anyway, here is the full story and here are some of the highlights. In retrospect, it’s fun to laugh at how Kim was so full of herself.

STELLA DAMASCUS HIT BY NDLEA AT THE AIRPOT

 

It was Nollywood actress Stella Damascus was next in line to be drilled by the anti-drug agency at the airport over what was suspected to be an attempt by the actress to smuggle drugs to Dubai. After thorough searches and scanning, nothing was found on her. The Nollywood star missed her flight and continued her holiday travel with another flight.
Stella twitted later ” Today I regret being a Nollywood Star”.

CHRISTIAN IS THE WINNER OF SEASON THREE OF THE GLO NAIJA SINGS

It was a  splendid and wonderful night as season three of the Glo Naija Sings came to an end this evening with 35 year old comedian and musician CHRISTIAN winning the coveted prize. The first runner up is Vicky with Mattade as the second runner up.
The show began with wonderful performances from the legendary Onyeka Onwenu who proved she still has what it takes when she performed with the Top 10 - and got a standing ovation.
Then the three contestants took to the stage pairing with celebrity artistes Mo'cheddah,, Eldee De Don,Davido and Jaywon. Then they went ahead to sing their individual original songs. Vicky raised the bar with her wonderful performance and Christian the peoples favourite really showed that class in him that endeared many to him and Mattade many claimed saved the best for the last.

MTN PROJECT FAME UPDATE;EMMANUEL, JOBA AND FIVE OTHERS GOES ON PROBATION

The show took a new twist today as seven people instead of the usual six were put on probation by the judges.
The show started very well with performance from Monica and the remaining twelve contestants. It was really an Uphill task for the judges picking out those for probation as they all did spectacularly well with the highlight been Yvonnes performance of  one of Rihanna's song.
Finally the judges decided to place Emmanuel(3), Joba(7), Rachel(12), Roy(13),Princess(11),Chidinma(2) and Ruth(14) up for probation.

Season four of the MTN project fame got hotter last week as Port-harcourt born 24 year old Aziga Menegbo junior and kaduna born Zaliha got evicted from the show joining Kamar and Joe who got evicted two weeks ago.The viewers saved Ethel again, the judges saved Big Isaac, the faculty saved Princess while the contestants finally saved Emmanuel This leaves the show with 13 more contestants to struggle for the coveted prize. NOLLYWOOD ACTOR ENEBELI ENEBUWA DOWN WITH STROKE

These are definitely not the best of times for veteran actor, Enebeli Elebuwa who has been down with stroke for almost a month now.

According to sources, the revered entertainer is currently admitted at the St. Luke’s hospital, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.

The Delta State-born actor is calling on well- meaning Nigerians and the Delta State Government to come to his aid financially.

Several Nigerians, especially fans, colleagues and well-wishers of the actor are currently praying and holding vigil for the bedridden thespian.

We pray God be with you and give you a speedy recovery.

JIM IYKE IN COURT FOR DUPING WOMAN TO THE TUNE OF 15 MILLION NAIRA

A film actor, Jim Iyke, 35, was on Thursday arraigned before an Abuja Chief Magistrates' Court charged with N15 million fraud.
The Police Prosecutor, Mr Chijoke Okezie, told the court that on Aug. 8, Habiba Abubakar wrote a petition to the Inspector General of Police (IG) to investigate the fraud.
He said that investigation into the case revealed that the accused, a resident of Sunnyville Estate, Abuja, deceived Abubakar into acquiring 15 per cent equity shares to the tune of N15 million from his company, Untamed Records Ltd.
Okezie said the accused admitted that the complainant paid the money into his Oceanic Bank account No. 00500173691, deviating from his initial plan of investment and converted the money to his personal use.
He added that when the complainant confronted the accused, he resorted to beating her and threatened to kill her.
Okezie said the accused was charged with criminal breach of trust, criminal force, assault, cheating and criminal misappropriation which contravened sections 312,265,322 397 and 309 of the Penal Code.
